Care Package for Lindsey

1: The self reflective narrative in your work is engaging in the emotion and female experience that your figures communicate. Some pieces that especially caught my attention were those with exaggerated human proportion and the one that was more of a collage of many narratives. I wonder how combining these elements of mixed proportion and multiple narratives could push the paintings further?

2: The level of texture that you are interested in creating with the zagging or squiggling mark making to me communicates a need for deeper engagement of the canvas. Do you think mixing things with the paint to create more elaborate intimate texture could satisfy this texture hunt?

3: I noticed a tiredness that arose with some work where you felt that maybe it was time to give up on that canvas. Do you ever take an old canvas with a somewhat completed work on it (that your dissatisfied with) and start a completely new composition over that work, perhaps only letting some of your favorite aspects of the old composition become part of the new?
